Well what can one say about this latest book in the Storm MC series, but OMFG I loved it.

Nina has really outdone herself this time, where she has produced a page gripping read that holds onto to you even after the last page.

Sophie I feel is a strong woman, suffering loss and hurt that no one would wish on their worst enemy. This has made her into the woman she is today. Even though she displays that she is fully together on the outside underneath it all she is still a damaged woman. She has values and she hates to break the promises she makes to herself until that is she meets Griff.

Griff is a sexy arsed biker, he is the whole package as far as I am concerned. Hiding secrets that could threaten what he has built within Storm MC. Loss and heartbreak in his life has made him the man he is today. He has a hardened heart that he feels no one will be able to break. There is only one person that he has let into his heart and that is his Aunt Josie. She is the one person that he shows his loving and caring side to.

This is something that is witnessed by Sophie and even though Griff shows her the hardened, dark side of him. She doesn't believe that this is all to him.

After reading the other books in the series, we finally find out why Griff has this dark demeanor about him. It is heartbreaking to find out the real reasons behind it all. Meeting Sophie is the best thing for him as she accepts him as he is, but also draws out the caring and loving side of him. They share a past of loss, and it glues them together.

This read has all the makings of a fantastic Storm MC read, Nina has a writing style that gets you hooked and wanting more. This is one author that I really get excited about when I hear she is writing another book.

A definite, fantastically great 5* wholesome Storm MC read.

Sophia is a rarity, having had a terribly challenging childhood filled with grief, loss and pain she has somehow managed to turn all the negativity around and use it to motivate herself. Coming to terms with her emotional baggage she has worked through her hang ups and dumped the boyfriend who treated her poorly, moved into her own place and has started standing up for herself at work. Building a relationship with her sister who she only found out about six months prior, Sophia's life has taken a positive turn. Her older neighbour Josie has also made her feel more than welcome...maybe with an ulterior motive in mind!

Griff. Where to begin? Previously a man of few words he's always been a little bit of a mystery. Always in the background getting the dirty work done his loyalty to Storm and especially Scott has a dark cloud surrounding it. Things have been a little tense since he seemingly betrayed his brotherhood to step up to be VP albeit as part of a bigger plan to end Marcus. With the mood in the club still on edge Griff is in a dark place as his past is threatening to unearth itself in the moat spectacular way. Who is Griff? Well you are about to find out! Willing to go to extreme lengths to keep those skeletons in the closet we see why he is the VP of Storm, able to plan and execute the removal of anyone that stands in his way. But secrets tend to find a way to be revealed...can Storm handle the truth or will Griff lose the family he has chosen?!?

Aside from the ongoing club drama that only seems to escalate with each book in the series, those boys are in for a long ride as Marcus has left nothing but misery...Griff also tales care of his elderly aunt Josie. making sure she is well looked after as she is the last family he claims outside of Storm. A sweet and loving character she has a deviously clever plan to make sure she gets her own way, plotting set up her favourite nephew with her very attractive new neighbour. Let the fun and games commence! Sophia's rare blend of painfully honest ramblings and appreciation of even the smallest gestures makes Josie realise that she is ideal to melt the ice surrounding Griff's heart. Griff, his pain and suffering is transparent to Sophia having experienced so much herself, she is drawn to this puzzle of a man. Can she fit all the broken pieces of Griff back together again? Will he let her try?

Gawd I fell hard for Griff, after being on the fence about him in earlier books as Nash, Scott and J have all claimed a stake in my heart he is easily the most surprisingly sworn worthy male yet in the Storm MC. A contradiction in every way, he's gentle and caring but domineering and very much in control. So damaged by his past, he has survived horror that no one should have to. As for Sophia I thought she was perfectly imperfect in every way, her regrouping her ramblings and her worries are endearing and heart warming. I can't wait for her to meet the other Storm women as she will be a breath of fresh air for those women who have had so much to deal with.

Nina Levine has scored another home run with a story that has all her amazing writing skills in spades...characters that you not only connect with but fall in love with and root for. Suspense, drama and a little blood shed...keeping the life of the MC at the forefront as the family and brotherhood it is. I was bowled over by Griff's story...honestly no words!

Holy smokes Illusive was outstanding. I think this book is now my favorite out of the series. Wow I loved Griff he is now my favorite Storm MC bad boy biker right after Nash though. These books are so good and addicting that you fall in love with these characters that Nina created. Griff was all male and sex on sticks and has a dark secret. His story was so addicting and loved how much he came to where he is today. Sophia was another lovable character to enjoy just like all the other women in the other books. Things have changed within the MC in leadership in this one which I was happy to see Scott being the President and that Griff is VP of the club now.

This is such a good series to read and enjoy you will be hooked with the Storm boys and love their loyalty to each other.

His strokes were slow and rhythmic, designed to work a woman to a crazed state. I should know because he was slowly taking me there. He didn’t want me to come yet, but that was getting harder and harder with each new round of pleasure. Each time a wave crashed over me, my muscles threatened to let my body collapse onto the bed. I wasn’t sure how much longer I could hold myself up. And not to reach out and touch him? That was a whole other level of how-the-fuck-will-I-make-it-through-this? He pushed another finger inside so I now had two delivering me heaven. I writhed under his touch, my muscles seriously beginning to tire. My eyes squeezed close and my fingers curled into a ball, wanting desperately to cling to something, but unable to latch onto anything the way they were tied.
