The right hand and most trusted of all men within the Famiglia he is the enforcer, the death dealer...the judge, jury and executioner for anyone who has wronged Don Sebastiano. So what happens when you look at yourself in the mirror and know you have stepped over that line? That you are guilty of breaking that trust in thought, word and deed? This is Riccardo's story and oh boy be ready for the storm!
This is the second book in the Stud Mafia series and although it can be read a standalone, why would you want to miss out on the seriously hot and sexy The Don...he has some inspirational ideas for rosary beads, just saying! In The Capo we pick up on the seriously edgy and dangerous Riccardo, assigned to protect Lorena, the beautiful yet wicked temptation that is Sebastiano's only daughter. Mentioned in the previous book we delve deeper into the banter, flirting and uneasy relationship they have. Bound by duty and honour Riccardo struggles every day against his desire to own and possess Lorena. She offers herself to him at every turn feeling deep in the marrow of her bones that he is destined to be her forever. Fearing the reaction of the Famiglia and mostly her Father Lorena finds herself between a rock and a hard place, totally miserable with her situation.
This is their fight to stay apart although their blood ignites when they are bear one another, they are powerless to fight Fate and their connection. Their love seems doomed as Riccardo knows he has broken the trust of his Don in a most unforgivable way, secrets have a way of becoming revealed.
Within all the unrequited love and angst the shady, under hand dealings of The Don's enemies gather momentum and can The Capo ensure everyone safety or is he too distracted to be the protection they need? Greed, power and hubris drives The Don's enemies believing they can take down the Famiglia...the plot is fast paced, violent and graphic at times. It is slick and well written with the right balance of dark to light.
Can The Capo prove he is the man for The Don's Mafia Princess? Can he overcome his own fear that he is too much monster to be her happily ever after? Lorena is a surprise favourite of mine in this series, her spoilt rich girl ways peel back to show a very vulnerable but strong woman underneath. She is a lost in her pain of having her love rejected time and time again...of being able to see, smell and touch the one thing she can't have. And yet she is capable and brave, taking a stand and fighting for what she feels,

The Capo by Elle Raven and Aimie Jennison is book 2 in their Stud Mafia series. To fully enjoy all the twists and turns this tale contains I'd recommend reading The Don first. This is a full on action packed, dramatic and off the charts hotness infused book from beginning to end!!
Riccardo Rossi is a dangerous man, as The Don Sebastiano Morassi's Capo he is the last person you see before your fate is sealed. He's a killer, a sadist and has always been at one with the darkness inside him and uses it to protect his famiglia and to fulfil his duties as The Capo: "I don't feel guilt, I don't feel remorse. This is my job, my life." He'd never ever betray his famiglia's trust, but one person is proving too much of a temptation: Lorena Morassi. She's The Don's daughter, out of bounds, forbidden and way too young for him... But, could she be the one to bring about his damnation if he gives in to temptation or could she be his chance at salvation?

I was eagerly and not so patiently waiting for this book after reading the fantastic The Don:Sebastiano. Elle and Aimie you really didn't disappoint. I was hooked from the first page, it is a read that will have you engrossed, and you are oblivious to the outside world.
We follow Riccardo The Capo in this book and watch his story unfold and the object of his affection and you may call it obsession with Lorena.
A story of a forbidden love and you will be kept guessing on how their relationship will unfold.
It is action packed, we have death, betrayal, romance, sizzling scenes that will leave you so hot.
I absolutely love this series, and it just keeps getting better, the writing from both these authors is impeccable.
But in my heart of hearts Sebastiano is the one for me, Riccardo himself has a place.
I for one cannot wait for the next book in the series. If you are wanting a read that has everything from sizzling sex to action packed scenes, then this is the series for you. ♥
