A sexy, romantic fiction novella series
Installment #1
Release: October 21, 2014
Each novella is around 30k words
Anna Kirby is sick of dating. She's tired of heartbreak. Despite being smart, sexy, and funny, she's a magnet for men who don't deserve her.
A week's vacation in New York is the ultimate distraction from her most recent break-up, as well as a great place to meet a stranger and have some summer fun. But to protect her still-bruised heart, fun comes with rules. There will be no sharing stories, no swapping numbers, and no real names. Just one night of uncomplicated fun.
Super-successful serial seducer Ethan Scott has some rules of his own. He doesn't date, he doesn't stay the night, and he doesn't make any promises.
It should be a match made in heaven. But rules are made to be broken.
A Week in New York is the first in a series of three novellas.

REVIEW BY JEN GIGGLES SIDEKICK PIMPETTE

A Week in New York review by Jen Allred

In the world of dating, each of us has gone through a bad break up. In a the healing stage after a bad break up, what do you do? How do you make yourself forget your ex? Get wasted? Go on vacation? Hook up with the first random hottie? Not really your style of healing? Well, then read this beautifully written tale because it has all of those elements!
This book begins with Anna. She’s traveled with her friend Leah from England to New York for a holiday of healing away from her stupid ex. Anna and Leah are enjoying themselves when the sexy and mysterious Ethan buys them drinks. Of course Ethan was a direct interest Anna, as they chat at the bar Anna does everything to thwart his flirtation. But then she changes her mind and give him rules for a one night stand. No real names. No exchanging of their number. No sleeping over. No complications. Or so Anna thought.
Their one night of passion leads into a week of them spending every moment with each other. And something unexpected happens to both Ethan and Anna. He can’t stand the thought of Anna leaving and Anna is doing everything possible to not feel anything towards Ethan. When Anna’s week of vacationing is up, she returns home but can’t completely turn off her feelings for Ethan.

Such a short read! But I loved it! The next book in the series is Autumn in London and we get to learn what happens to Ethan and Anna! Louise Bay is a talented writer. I was completely engrossed in this book from beginning to end. I couldn’t put this book down for two days.  I work so I read whenever I wasn’t working or running after my kids. But I give this tale two glorious thumbs up! Well done Ms. Bay!

About the Author

I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels - the kind I like to read!
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.
I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
